What makes it unique
This programme is for people who have never set foot in Nepal and want to leave with a real sense of the country, without committing to a trek lasting several weeks. Over 10 days it combines the three faces of Nepal that, taken together, say the most: a taste of walking at altitude up to Australian Camp, the jungle and wildlife of the Terai at Chitwan, and then the cultural wealth of the Kathmandu valley to close the trip.
Australian Camp was chosen precisely for its accessibility: two days of easy walking from Pokhara, with no risk of underestimating distances or needlessly tiring travellers discovering the Himalaya for the first time. Then comes the relative ease of the Chitwan safaris, with two full nights to take the time to watch the wildlife from several angles, before the Kathmandu valley right at the end of the trip.
What makes it unique
The only programme in the catalogue designed as a genuine introduction to Nepal, combining trekking, safari and culture in a single coherent, easily accessible trip, without ever requiring any particular physical preparation.
Route at a glance
Kathmandu → Pokhara → Kande → Australian Camp → Dhampus → back to Pokhara → Chitwan, two nights (safaris) → back to Kathmandu → Kathmandu valley (Patan, Bhaktapur, Durbar Square)
