Ce qui le rend unique
Nepal is not only the Himalaya. This 12-day circuit combines the cultural wealth of the Kathmandu valley with two national parks in the Terai that have very different personalities: Chitwan, the most accessible and the richest in biodiversity, and Bardia, more remote in the west of the country, where the Bengal tiger can be approached far from the queues of jeeps.
After exploring the royal cities of the valley, the programme drops down to the hot plains of the Terai with a short flight to Bharatpur, the gateway to Chitwan. Several days of walking and jeep safaris give the chance to see one-horned rhino, wild elephant and gharial crocodile, before the drive west to Bardia, where the jungle is denser and wildlife encounters rarer but more intense.
What makes it unique
The only programme in the catalogue that combines the culture of the Kathmandu valley with Nepal's two largest national parks, for a complete overview of the country beyond the Himalaya.
